Woolly Wonder day and Macmillan Sheep Derby (Mon 26 May)
 Feel the different textures of wool from sheep to llamas to alpacas then see the spinners and shearers in action as the story “From their Back to Ours” unfolds.Hoo Farm will take you on a journey from the field to your wardrobe as we help you visualise and experience first hand the different way that animals affect our lives. Woolly Wonder day promises to be a full of fun, adventure and education for all ages, your chance to try your hand at spinning, knitting and weaving.  Don’t be confused as the real woolly Jumpers take to the race track in the afternoon for a Special Woolly Wonder Macmillan Sheep Derby – The sheep will be helping raise money for cancer research so make sure you don't get fleeced! The big question is will they have their fleeces or not?  |
