Lots to See and Do during the Summer Holidays!!
Apart from all of the usual summer holiday fun including, the daily *Sheep and Goat Races, Lamb Feeding, Egg Collecting, Deer Feeding, Meet the Small Animals, Pony Grooming, Pony Rides, Duck Racing, Fishing Ducks and much much more, for 2010 we are introducing 'Animal Week', kicking off with... Owl Week Sat July 24th - Fri July 30th. Meet Hoo Farms Flighty Friends!! Including Spock the Wide Eyed Eagle Owl and Zeus the Grey Owl who featured in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets! Pig Week Sat July 31st - Fri August 6th. Watch the pigs getting a clean fresh bed, water and food. Help sort through the correct vegetables which they can eat and watch them have their daily dose of suntan lotion on their backs to help guard then from a nasty sunburn! Meerkat Week Sat August 7th - Fri August 13th. Meet our Meerkats. Learn about how they live and breed, and what they like to eat! Horse Week Sat August 14th - Fri August 20th. Watch and learn a little about each of our Horses and Ponies. Find out where they originally came from and learn a little about grooming and tacking up! Reptile Week Sat August 21st - Fri August 27th. Meet our Giant Tortoise and try and guess their weight. Get up close to the Snakes, Lizards and Snails. Teddy Week Sat August 28th - Fri September 3rd. Bring your picnics and your teddys for your own teddy bears picnic and count the teddys as you wonder around for your chance to win a family visit! *excludes fridays |
