Sheep Steeplechase Races are held at: 1:30pm weekdays in term time 3:00pm weekends and school holidays  These lean, mean, racing machines (the sheep!) thunder along a furlong of luscious turf, taking in their stride five purpose-built fences : Darner's Ditch, Spinner's Chair, Fleecer's Brook, Woolly Leap and Stable Turn. The professional race commentary will have you believing you are watching the Grand National at Aintree. Tremendous fun, choosing which woolly wonder will win the race, and shouting for your sheep. With a much coveted Winner's Rosette as the prize, the heat is on!  |
