The Conservation tour is available throughout September and October and features a hands on and interactive approach to educate adults and children about the importance of maintaining natural habitats. It looks at the different types of habitats that can be found and the plants, trees and creatures that survive amongst them. A visit of this nature would be of great value to school children as during the tour you can collect items to take back to the class room for further discussions and topic work. The conservation tour would compliment and assist with teaching Key stage 1 Science 2, Life processes and living things (Life processes, humans and other animals, green plants, variation and classification and living things in their environment), along with raising awareness of our environment and the means with which we must try and protect it. Best of all, a school conservation group visit is FREE OF CHARGE to you! Please ring Rachel on 01952 677917 for more information.
