Ascot at Hoo Farm (Mon 30th Aug 2010)  The racing starts from 3pm on Monday 30th August, but make sure you arrive early to get in on all the action and study the form on the 2010 race card! Will an old favourite take your fancy or perhaps a recent newcomer will steal the thunder!  18 sheep and goats will be competing on the day in three individual races – all runners are sponsored by local companies whilst visitors will be able to support as many goats or sheep as they wish! All sponsorship money will be donated to charity which will be decided nearer to the time and lucky race winners will receive a fantastic Rosette to take home and wear with pride! The main Sheep Race will be supported by Wolverhampton Racecourse this year, whilst the Thunder crew from Shropshire’s 103.1FM Beacon radio will be backing the one and only Goat Race! |
