Ascot at Hoo Farm (Mon 25th Aug 2008)
 It’s time to hunt out your best hat, suit and frock for the annual spectacular that is “Ascot at Hoo Farm!”  If you don’t have a hat then you can make one in the craft area before the racing starts, and then study the form on the race card - will an old favourite take your fancy or perhaps a recent newcomer will steal the thunder! Our licensed bookmaker is on hand if you fancy a flutter or simply buy a badge from the Hoo Farm tote and if your sheep wins exchange it for an exclusive rosette! 18 sheep and goats compete on the day in three individual races - all runners are sponsored by local companies with sponsorship money and bookmaker proceeds going to a charity. Ascot day always proves to be a winner with all the family whatever the outcome! |
